ABOUT US: PDI Cone Company - Dutch Treat LLC has recently celebrated our 35th anniversary serving the ice cream and dessert industry. We are located on the USA – Canada border 5 minutes off NYS Thruway 190 Exit 4. Minutes from the Peace Bridge and metropolitan Buffalo. Our facility is 48,000 sq. ft. on 3 acres, 2 truck level docks and ample parking. All within 1 days drive of 75% of the North American total population. ORIGIN OF OUR NAME: PDI Cone Company/Dutch Treat was part of Paper Distributors Inc. of Buffalo, NY, hence the "PDI" portion.  Mike & Jim Lichtenthal (Dutch in origin) are the co-founders, with Chrisanne joining the team later on down the road and that, my friends,  takes care of "Dutch Treat". OUR PRODUCT: Our delicious sugar cone recipe dates back over 90 years.  The only changes were to comply with the FDA as dictated.  Our sugar cones, as well as the majority of the candies & cookies we offer, are kosher. Candies are chopped, mixed and repacked under license agreement of the 3 major confection manufacturers (Mars USA, Nestles USA, Hershey USA).
